Who is the stay blooming network designed for?
The SBN is for anyone who is looking to develop their knowledge in floral design and/or master their skills as a business owner. If you desire to build a strong client attractive portfolio, obtain a certification in floral arranging, and be supported along the way then you will enjoy any one of our programs.
What flowers will I work with at the flower styling classes?
The purpose of our programs is for you to develop the skills and build a client attractive portfolio. The flowers you'll work with include roses, tropical blooms, dutch blooms (peonies, ranuculus,etc.) hydrangeas, liatris, stock, assorted fillers and quality foliage. Online programs come with substitution options for flowers that are not accessible to students.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, we guarantee that you will be provided fresh, high quality products. We also guarantee that if you complete the program you will be equipped and empowered to successfully complete flower styling and/or event styling in the real world. You are responsible for your success post our time together in this program. We do not promise that this course will guarantee you to make money or secure a job.
Do you cover any business related topics?
Yes, we discuss marketing ideas and provide advise on booking your first wedding, attracting regular clients, and more. Some of our courses specifically cover branding, sales, team building, and managing shrinkage within your business.
Do you provide support after class is completed?
Yes, your membership to the SBN includes monthly support and a community of like minded florists who are equally invested in each other's success.
Will be able to purchase wholesale flowers at any point?
Yes, you will get to purchase direct floral products from us at wholesale prices or buy from one of our recommended suppliers as a member of SBN.
How many students are in the class?
In studio classes range in sizes. Certification courses are about 8-12 students per session. Workshop are shorter classes for hobbyists and can include on average up to 15 students per workshop.
What level of design skill is needed to take the course?
The SBN Certification Courses are designed for beginner to intermediate florist/planners. Each class we instruct design principles and trends that range in difficulties. Classes include live demonstrations, followed by hands on designing, pricing and sourcing of products used. Membership masterclasses are designed for florists and event stylists with at least one year of experience.
is room and board included with tuition of the in-studio courses?
At this time your tuition for any of our in studio courses does not include room and board. For out of state students, you may contact us here for further assistance.
HOW OFTEN IS the sbn certification course HELD?
This program is held two to four times a year. The are held in Chicago, IL and Miami, Florida USA during the spring/summer. Fall sessions are located in Paris, France and Los Angeles, California. Online sessions are held throughout the year.
ARE THE FLOWERS OURS TO KEEP inside the in studio flower design classes?
Yes, you do get to keep all flowers after completion of each project. Supply kit, books, flowers, and resources are all yours to keep.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I ENROLL?
Once you pay you your course fees, you will be redirected to the student orientation pdf. Your login and password for the course will be sent to you within 3-12 hours after enrollment. In most cases access is instantly granted. You'll also be added to our weekly student check in email list and Facebook Group. Online course attendees access their program upon logging in once course is live.
how accessible are your programs?
Our online and in studio courses are designed to be completed with ease, and promote confidence within each student. You will love the interactive forums, and assignments that allow you to gain hands on learning while building your design skills. You can take the online courses on your desktop, mobile device, or print out worksheets to study pen + paper style. Our in studio class offerings span across the USA and international locations.
HOW ARE THE FLORAL ARRANGING SESSIONS HELD?
We provide EXCLUSIVE design recipes for you to construct your very own floral arrangements to sell, or add to your portfolio. Online training programs will have you watching Rochell & team complete a live HD video training and have private access to the recorded sessions after each training. In studio design workshops are held in our HQ flower design studio in Chicago. Other locations include flower wholesaler workshops, luxury hotels, and unique venues to inspire you to create your best work.
I'M UNDER 18 YEARS OLD, CAN I TAKE CLASSES AT STAY BLOOMING NETWORK?
Yes, the courses are designed for anyone at any age. All students are required to sign a student enrollment agreement. If you are under 18, you'll need a parent or guardian signature. If you are attending an in studio course with us from out of state/country and are under the age of 21, we will assist you with booking as guardian for your room.
I'M OUTSIDE OF THE USA, CAN I BOOK THIS PROGRAM?
Yes, this program is available for anyone internationally who has a flower or event styling business. If you are planning on launching your flower business in the next 6-9 months, then any one of our programs would be for you as well.
I WORK A FULL-TIME JOB AND RUN MY FLOWER BUSINESS ON THE SIDE, WILL i have time to complete masterclasses?
Master classes are held monthly and are about 4 hours each. Support and implementation assistance is available every single week in order to get you results. In some cases more time is needed to be invested. So if you are looking to move your flower shop from your kitchen or garage to a storefront, then you'll have to put in a little more work then someone who is looking to book one more bride a month.
I HAVE A BUSINESS PARTNER, CAN SHE JOIN ME ON THESE COACHING SESSIONS?
Yes! She would have to be named on your business as an active partner. Business partners and employees can join any program 50% off enrollment as long as you are registered in the same program/course.
